Easy to use and helps seeds sprout quickly. It doesn't have any temperature control but I haven't had a problem with it, doesn't seem to get too hot. Had seeds sprouting in 2-3 days after I planted them. I haven't noticed any unpleasant smells from the heat, it did smell a little when I first unpackaged it which is normal for something brand new.

The price was good and they are working fine. I have had my original heat mat from that company for about six or seven years, maybe longer and it still works. The mats shorten the germination time, just remember to take the plants off the mat when they come up.

These are just plug and play easy to use heat mats. They seem perfect for sprouting peppers, and other seeds that need warmth to germinate.

I was a little skeptical when I ordered this item. It was so less expensive than many others, but it worked like a charm. My little seedlings did so well. You can't control the temperature, but the temp is perfect.

Doesn't get too hot, wish there was some control but cannot complain for the price. Used it for abouth a month now and no issues.
