I've read the negative reviews wherein the authors says the adhesive pads didn't work. The bad news is that they're kinda right EXCEPT I added the extra pads to the back of the hooks and they worked wonderfully. I used my hooks on a plastic Rubbermaid garden shed, the lining of which is lightly textured and these things after holding up all my garden tools, including a shovel, broom, and rakes. They're working great for me! UPDATE: Well, it took 4 days but the adhesive hooks in our Rubbermaid outdoor storage shed failed. So, if you wanna put these on a smooth surface, you'll have no problems. In fact, the one I have inside is holding up a leather tool belt AND an office carry case. On a smooth surface, these are 5-star. One anything not so smooth, don't bother. Oh, and don't try Alien Tape. It didn't work either.

The hooks are sturdy but adhesion is not the best. I put these up in my bathroom and they fell out within the first month. Would not buy again

Added these to a master closet to hang purses, hats, backpacks. So far, really pleased with these -- they stick really well and look nice, and the hooks are large enough to hold several hats or purses. Have not removed them so can't comment on ease there, but so far they are doing the job well.

I purchased these hooks to hang a little wreath on my door but also great for keys. Probably will put up more for other things! They are sturdy and look nice. The seller even checked in with me to make sure I was happy with my order which I appreciate.

UPDATE: Stuck extremely well - at first and I was impressed. Stayed stuck to the wall for a few months now falls off.Won’t buy again.Be careful and measure first. I put four up for a curtain rod and they worked amazingly well. But then I got the bright idea to attach one to the side of my kitchen cabinet. I tried to eyeball it and failed miserably. It’s crooked and now I can’t get it off! Uh oh…. 😕

You have to wait the 24 hours! I tried to use it right away and it fell right off. I waited the 24 hours and they work great. I use them for towels in my bathroom and sweatshirts. They hold great.
