I do enjoy camping from time to time. I am usually by myself. So when I saw this mattress become available I wanted to try it out. It comes in it's own slip bag, and includes a small sheet of stick on plugs in case of an air leak. It rolled out very easily and lay flat on the floor immediately. The foot pump mechanism is easy to spot when it's laid out because it's the only raised part of the bed before it's inflated. I had it pumped up in about 3 minutes...but I'm always being told I'm too slow so it's quite possible to do it in two. There is a valve on the pillow end. The valve can be used to inflate or deflate the mattress if desired. The foot mechanism is very handy if you are in a place with no power. If you were backpacking and needed to bring a sleeping bag I think I would roll this mattress up inside it. It will add some weight to a backpack. Whether that bothers you or not depends on how used to hiking with a backpack you are. I found it reasonably comfortable to sleep on. I like the addition of the snaps on both sides. You can attach the mattress to other ones if you want to make a bigger bed. Overall I definitely rate this a great buy. It will come in handy in many situations.

Today I'm reviewing the Wolf Tower sleeping mattress. It comes in a protective bag rolled up and secured with a thick elastic band. Inflation was easy, just unroll the mat, close the air port at the head, and using my foot, I was able to inflate this pad in approximately 2 and a half minutes. This pad has an incredible 3 inches of padding when fully inflated. Rocks, roots, and uneven ground won't be a bother throughout the night. I’m thoroughly impressed with its comfort. While sleeping on my side, I found that a folded sweatshirt added enough height to the pillow to provide comfort. When my trip was over, I found that deflating and packing were a breeze. Two air ports allow the pad to deflate on its own; the process of folding and rolling forced any excess air from the mat. Roll it up, and using the elastic provided by it, it fits easily back into its bag. I should mention I'm a 6-foot-2-inch, 225-pound guy, and this mat held its air and provided ample comfort. The foot pump I found works out great; no need for any type of pump or electricity. If I found one flaw with this sleeping mat, it would be the pillow. It could use a little more height for side sleepers, but like mentioned, a folded sweater does the job. Overall, I highly recommend the Wolf Tower mattress! I have had mats from big-name companies that lasted a season. Only time will tell how long it lasts, but for the price, it's hard to beat.

This camping sleeping pad is something I've been looking to add to my camping setup. I was looking for a thicker and more comfortable pad to replace the ultralight one I use for backpacking and came across this. What I really like about this sleeping pad is how easy and fast it is to inflate. It advertised a two minute inflate by foot and it was right on. There is a a slightly thicker material on the bottom which seems to be a bit more rugged than the top material. This is quite comfortable when fully inflated. The ribs that spread across to support your body are a bot more narrow so you can somewhat feel them but this adds to the support. I'm 5'8 and noticed my foot slightly touches the pump area so its slightly elevated. Also, although there is a "pillow" section, it's just part of the pad and you can't change how full of air it is. It's quite thick and puts your neck up a bit.Overall, I think this is a pretty good pad. I'd bring an extra pillow to make it more comfortable. Also due to its 1kg weight, think would be a bit on the heavy side for true backpacking but for camping, it's suitable.

I do occasionally camp in a tent and it is always a must that you have an air mattress. The issue I always have is finding the pump or forgetting the batteries for the pump. I saw this very thick oversized sleeping pad that has a manual pump built in and I had to give it a try.The sleeping mat or as I will refer it to, the air mattress, arrived very well packaged. It comes packaged in a small drawstring bag that is very compact. It comes with some small patches as well as a small user manual. The material for this air mattress is very thick and waterproof. It has no rough edges at all and all of the seams are very tight. It is much larger than your typical single air mattress being 78.7x29.6 in size. If you want a double-sized air mattress you can purchase a second one of these and snap them together with the snaps that are on the side of the air mattress. What makes this air mattress unique is the built-in pump. You can pump up the air mattress in just over a minute with no additional pump required. You just open the foot valve and push repeatedly with your foot.Deflating is just as easy. You just open the valves near the pillow and roll the air mattress from the foot up. This takes seconds. It is very easy to get it back into its carrying bag just make sure you fold it the same way it was originally folded. The air mattress is very comfortable since it is 5 inches thick and you do not feel the ground or floor at all.The material is very durable.I am very happy with this very high-quality air mattress with a built-in pump. I will be getting a second one to make a double-air mattress.I do recommend this.
