This is one of my favorite tools. It lives on my side everyday in the shop and in the field. It's geometrically perfect for it's intended purposes. Additionally, my boss will mercilessly ridicule anyone that doesn't use this bar.

This is an awesome tool, and a must-own if you are into DIY home projects. My friend is a finish carpenter, and he told me to get one of these for a project I was doing. It is great for pulling trim without damaging it. Great for any kind of prying or nail pulling, where precision and small size are needed. The low profile blade and pry end are great for fitting into tight spots. It can pull nails where other tools can't reach. The sharp corners of the blade end are great for pulling carpet staples. Even found the blade useful for scraping the glue holding down the old carpet padding. Only limitation of this great tool is its size. You will still need a larger prybar for larger items, where you need more leverage. And for larger nails, you will need to switch to something like the classic claw end of a framing hammer once the nail is pulled out some. But for precision and delicacy, the Shark is the tool to have!

When it arrives it looks pretty small and delicate but it does do an excellent job even if you have to use it along with another tool to apply the muscle. The nail extractor gets behind nails the hammer cant touch. Most of the time it pulls the nail right out.The blade is very fine and again can get behind planks that require levering off. Because it is quite a delicate (ish) pry bar it is not to be used in a gung-ho manner but used along the plank to lever it off in a multitude of places. It benefits from both design and quality.

This tool is excellent, if you are into DIY or joinery etc this is invaluable. Ace for getting pins and nails out and the pry bar end is tough, thin but very strong ideal for breaking the tongs off floor boards but still being able to re-fit. Purchased one of these many years ago but lost it, if I am being honest the one I lost was better quality but this is still a great little tool.
