Very very comfortable. I love not having anything in or on my ears while exercising. The lightweight build feels like having almost nothing on. Exactly what I wanted for the gym and pool. I have also taken to wearing at home so I can hear my family while doing chores. They do not sound quite as good as the OpenRun Pro 2 but I needed the waterproof and would probably prefer these for peace of mind anyway.Obviously has no noise blocking by design so beware in loud environments. They are probably not suitable as your only pair of headphones.

Bluetooth feature is not working while swimming which is in my opinion is misleading. I already have headphones with Bluetooth on ground. Having to pre-load songs is so 1990. For 250$ I would have expected the company to have some sense of integrity, not impressed. Returned.

Very comfortable and easy to wear, easy to use and works brilliantly when swimming.Easy to sync files for MP3 standalone use, including underwater - playback is either serial or random. Has navigation to the next and previous songs.Simple and effective when walking, safer than in-ear and great sound. So comfortable I've forgotten I've had it on a couple of times.

Excellent quality, lightweight, great battery life, comfortable! And don’t fall off while swimming!Prior to these I quickly worked my way through two pairs of cheap versions. Both pairs failed within a couple of months. I decided to invest in these and wow they are perfect! Thin and small design but fit well on my big head. Very easy to setup and use in the swimming pool. Secure case to protect them.Loud volume levels too - works best with earplugs. MP3 mode for swimming allows me to dive (if you pardon the pun) into my old iTunes playlists from 2009 adding some spice to the swimming experience.Very happy!

These are very easy to set up and pair with your devices. One of the best features is that you hear the music perfectly, but it doesn't compromise your ability to hear your surroundings. Great for running or cycling, and obviously swimming!

First of all, one does not get headphones like this for their sound quality. You can assume sound quality will not be as good as the one on your earbuds, but try swimming with earbuds of any design and see what happens. Second, bluetooth does not work underwater: the radio band it uses is attenuated very strongly underwater and you are left with something like 2cm of range, which is useless. If you were hoping to keep your phone at the side of the pool and swim listening to music, forget it. The MP3 player combined with a high waterproof rating is what makes these headphones "for swimming" as opposed to for something else. I expected a proper MP3 player on these headphones "for swimming", one that follows the ID3 tags on the songs and plays them in order: no such luck. Also, can't skip an entire directory, or album if you will. I eventually gave up an encoded all my songs one album per file: no other way to do this. Still, with 32GB of storage that's a fair number of albums there, and skipping them one by one is a chore. Lastly, just copying files on the headphones doesn't work: the MP3 player on these is very naive and just plays the files in the order they were copied by your computer, which is random. I had to resort to a shell script to copy the files one by one the way I want them. I have had these problem with every single swimming headphones EXCEPT for the Sony ones (model NWWS623: if you are into swimming you have seen people use them - very very nice MP3 player on these). Why on Earth is it so hard to create a proper MP3 player?!?!? Lastly, the charging and syncing contacts are too exposed: I doubt anyone gold-plates these things anymore, they are probably brass, which will corrode eventually. I expected a little cover to keep the worst of the water out.Now about what I like: the swimming headphones have bluetooth in them, so I can use them for running and cycling too. This is really really nice and was the reason I was staying away from the Shokz before. Bluetooth works as expected, and the headphones are light enough and fit even when I have my glasses on. The MP3 player supports a lot more formats than my other headphones "for swimming" (H2O Sonar), except for the Sony (which supports almost everything). Also the flash memory on these headphones is FAST FAST FAST! Boy or boy, the H2O had to be left overnight to get their 8GB filled with songs, these were done in 10-15 minutes for 16GB! Lastly, there is a built-in controllable EQUALIZER! This is the cherry on top and made my day: when swimming water gets into my ear canals and the music from bone conduction headphones begins to sound distorted: bass becomes absolutely DEAFENING! These have a special "Swim mode" which attenuates the bass a little. Someone at Shokz actually swims! In conclusion, one gets bone conduction headphones for playing sports, and swimming in particular: their design allows them to be completely enclosed and waterproof. Also, since their contact points are on my head and not my ears, I can just clip them on my goggle straps and they stay on and are comfortable even if I do butterfly. No other design can be clipped like that and falls off when disturbed.

My husband recently purchased these for his morning laps at the pool. He has had the regular pair for years and loved them, and loves these. They connect to his phone and he can still hear what's going on but great music quality too.

They turn on randomly on their own and don't like where the on/off button is because of that but otherwise they work great. Haven't tried the mp3 function yet, mainly just Bluetooth and phone calls
