Very sturdy. On/off face plate is a bit ugly and thin but the switch itself feels like it will last a long time.

I remember quality switches like this from 40 years ago. This device, not made in China but rather made in Taiwan, is quite solid and reassuring in it's overall quality of construction. Even the packaging speaks of care and attention to detail. It's worth the extra $ for my purposes.

These switches feel really sturdy & well built. You can install without the On/Off plate, which I did because I don't need a sign telling me if my lights are on or off. Looks cleaner without, but that's your call. I wish there were some instructions on the back to confirm the order of washers on the threaded post, but I just went with the order it came in. I would also like it if the threaded post allowed for 3/4" thick stock, because my other 12v outlets & USB chargers can be installed into 1"+ thick material.

So far working great, so tired of these breaking off. I use these on a 45foot boom pull behind sprayer control box. It is covered but still outside, the other type i was getting at the auto parts store were corroding, and snapping off at the worst possible time, this seems to be of good quality. Spending a little bit more up front sure saves a lot when you're not broke down in the middle of the field.

I installed an auxiliary power hub (aka cigarette lighter) in my Prius that hooked up directly to the 12 volt battery because the factory ones do not stay powered on when the vehicle is shut off. There have been many a times when I forgot to charge my cell and needed a powered hub so I could charge my phone while I worked, then at break take it off the charger. I use this switch to shut the hub off manually when not needed. It works perfectly.

Very nice switch! Rigged this up for a 32" light bar across my bumper to replace the cheap plastic switch that came with it that shorted out. Beats the original switch ten times over. Has some weight to it and feels very high quality. Has a very nice sound to it when you switch it over, nothing beats the "TCH" sound from a genuine call-me-old-fashioned switch. Easy to install! Great value and quality for the price!I've had this switch for a while now, I still love it! Very comforting to hear that old-fashioned "tch" sound.

I purchased two of these to operate auxiliary lights on my 8n tractor. The switch is decent quality and works fine. The on off plate is cheesy but I didn't intend on using them on this project.
