I love the size in width and length. Perfect for little hands and there is no fighting putting on a pencil gripper or guide around a pencil. The shape encourages proper placement. My son prefers to use these pencils out of all the pencils we have. I hoped the sharpener had a cover as little fingers can fit inside.

Good for toddlers learning to handle a pencil, but too expensive for what they are I think.

My son had trouble holding a standard pencil in Pre-K this pencil helped him develop the motor skills to grip the pencil properly. Teacher was impressed and now ordering them for students that have same issue.

I wish I had read more reviews and not been in a hurry. They are so short that even if your tiny child's hand can hold it they will not get much use out of it as the pencil wears down and gets sharpened. Not worth the money at all. A child should not be learning with such short pencils a normal length pencil is that length for a reason. The weight of the length helps to guide the hand in the proper direction. I'm hoping I can return these if not they will simply be tossed into the fire and maybe provide a little bit of warmth as their value LOL
