The light output is great, and the unit appears well built. The enclosed gasket was a good fit, the cutouts came out easily, and it attached with ease.Reasons for 'only' 4 stars:- The plug was too hard to insert. In the split second between deciding to remove everything again to take measurements and take pictures, it did snap into place. I tried to take it apart again, but was not able to so without tools. I was afraid that disconnecting it with pliers might harm the plug, I abandoned the idea and proceeded with the install.- Just the knowledge that this is an aftermarket light leaves me skeptical whether the promise of 'long life' will actually hold up. The 'old' unit in the lower part of the picture is already severely faded, yet only 3 years old. It was also an amazon item (from a different manufacturer though), but in the same price range. I do like this new one better, but time shall tell whether it holds up to the elements...

Like the style of this, looks like original. Other replacements were all clear, and only showed red when lit. Had clear one on truck, had people ask if something fell off. This just looks better.
