Not every squeegee is the same - the $1.99 one certainly cannot compare to this one. Although on the more expensive side, I have bought it again (the last one lasted me 8 years). It does a GREAT job removing the water from the shower walls and floor. I highly recommend it; you will not be sorry.

Quality of the actual Squeegee is fantastic; super heavy duty rust free works great. Suction cup however WILL NOT STICK under any circumstance. I have tried it on multiple clean surfaces in absolute ideal conditions and it will fall off without fail. I have resorted to hanging it on one of my Simple Human corner shower caddy hangers. It is just a bit odd that a product that's designed well works great and is made of very high quality materials has such a cheap lackluster suction cup to hang it. If it had a better suction cup perhaps with a latch to lock it down it would be 5/5 all day long.

J’en avais déjà acheté une il y a environ 4 an et elle n’a pas changé (pas de rouille et pas de changement de couleur), elle est toujours impeccable. Si vous ne séchez pas bien la raclette, au bout de quelques années il peut y avoir des traces de calcaire sur la partie en inox, mais c’est pas grave, il suffit d’utiliser un produit anti-calcaire et ça part rapidement.Le produit est qualitatif en acier inoxydable.La raclette est pliable pour éviter de prendre trop de place. Le mécanisme est simple et efficace, il suffit d’appuyer sur le bouton pour débloquer la raclette pour la plier ou déplier.Personnellement, je n’utilise pas la ventouse pour tenir la raclette car sur le carrelage, ça tombe toujours au bout d’un certain temps, la ventouse tient bien sur les vitres. Je la pose juste sur le rebord de la baignoire, c’est plus simple.J’en ai racheté une autre pour mes parents.Je recommande !

My last one broke at the swivel, but given that it provided a non-smear and otherwise-tough squeegee for a couple of years, I bought another and will watch the warranty period.

This is a seriously sturdy squeegee with a mostly metal construction (just a bit of plastic holding the rubber blade, which is sandwiched between metal. I was skeptical of the folding design because I didn’t really need it, but it does help make it disappear when not in use. I didn’t bother using the suction cup because suction cups never work, and I had already installed a 3M Command Adhesive hook (one designed for wet environments) in my shower to hold my previous squeegee.

This is the second simple human squeegee I have purchased. The first one lasted seven years so I’m hoping for the same for this one. I bought it because it looks good in my shower. I don’t use the suction cup that came with it because it lets go after a few days. But I like this for the squeegee itself.

The simplehuman product line always meets/surpasses our expectations and this shower squeegee is no exception. Perfectly, and with ease, dries the interior of our glass shower. Durable, sturdy construction, comfortable to hold and we love the collapsible handle which stores easily on our interior shower shelf. Use this to clean the shower door before stepping out. Love the fact that the handle is metal instead of plastic. Had a plastic one before (don't remember the name of it) and it snapped on me. Been using one of these for the past year now with no issues. Just decided to get another one for the guest bath. Highly recommend this product. Cost more than others but last longer and does a great job.

My husband and I just moved into a newly built home last month, and we have wound up purchasing several Simplehuman products (see also my reviews for and ). When I realized that my new glass shower door was becoming streaked with water spots, I again turned to Simplehuman.I was attracted to this particular squeegee for two reasons (other than the Simplehuman name brand). One, the stainless zinc finish matches the brushed nickel finises of our other bathroom hardware, including our shower door itself. Two, I loved the fact that this squeegee folded, enabling it to be inconspicuously tucked out of the way in a corner of the shower; most of the other squeegees I considered (including the one by Oxo, another brand I usually like), were large and bulky.Although I also liked that this squeegee came with a suction cup for hanging, I suspected that I might not be able to use it, and I was right about that. The suction cup does work--IF you stick it to a PERFECTLY FLAT surface. Unfortunately, no tile surface is perfectly flat, and although the suction cup DID appear to stick at first, it slowly lost its grip. For me, this is not at issue, as it is just as easy to fold the squeegee in half and leave it on the built-in bench of our shower. In this sense, the squeegee is perfect: when open, it has an excellent span and does a very good job of clearing my glass shower door of water, soap scum, and other debris. When closed, it is not at all unattractive, and even better, it is barely noticeable.As long as you are not counting on the suction cup, I would definitely recommend this squeegee for shower use.
