This amp works great. Even with cheap speakers, the sound is very clear. I am partially deaf and now I can make out the dialogue much better than before. Having a digital input (for DVD) and an analog input (for cable) is perfect for my needs. The only weird thing is that the 'mute' does not function on the LINE setting. I don't know if it's just my particular unit of if it's part of the design.
