I was really looking forward to the Smartwool Men's Classic All-Season Merino shirt, as I love quality outdoor gear that keeps me comfortable in different weather conditions. Unfortunately, I had to send it back because it ran too small.

This product indicates in the written description and the image carousel that it’s made in the USA but it’s not true. The tag on the shirt indicates it’s made in China.

The material was thinner than I expected and is also quite transparent as a result. Maybe the see-through quality is because it's white, I'm not sure. I have other lightweight merino base layer shirts that are the same weight as this one, and they seem to have a slightly thicker quality. Anyway, the shirt is probably fine in general, I was just hoping for something less flimsy based on the photograph.

I ordered too small for husband. He’s lean but long so needs a size up but nice quality
