I wish it was metal, would be a bit stronger, and the band doesn't quite center on the tip, so far tho that doesn't seem to have much of an affect on keeping the tip in place.

It is absolute garbage, being plastic it is too soft and flexible to actually lock down onto a shaft, it just bends as you try to lock it down or the ring pops off the bottom from flexing. You're better off just using a rubber band and stretching it over the top and tying it off to your shaft.

This is a basic Que vise. Made out of plastic and not the aluminum advertised! I already had a plastic one and just wanted a better quality one. If you need a vise this style works great, but there are ones out there with better prices.Had this been made out of aluminum it would have gotten five stars. Also note that the rubber bands may break, but just install another one. Pull down on the vise and then adjust the tip, let dry.

I didn’t like the fact that the description says it can be used on a snooker cue as well as pool/billiard cueIt doesn’t work on a snooker cue, it’s designed for a pool cue and I’m unable to use this product.
