  • Function-This soda maker refill adapter can be used to refill small CO2 tanks from larger CGA320 thread CO2 tank (5lb or 20lb), with 2 turn on/off valves and pressure gauge, easy to use.
  • Support High Pressure- The refill adapter is US standard, use 24 inch stainless steel braided hose support 6000 psi high pressure with spring protector, and the surface is polished plating, very strong and beautiful.
  • Safety Enough-This soda cylinder refill adapter have double valve for safe, with a pressure gauge to ensure the pressure will not exceed the pressure specification of the small soda co2 tank.
  • Save Cost on Refill- This system allows you to fill soda co2 bottle from a larger co2 tank which has a CGA320 outlet valve.
  • Pay attention-If the vial thimble is very thick or short which cannot be inflated, The hose will expanded, please replace the thin thimble bottle. The big co2 tank should have enough pressure, If there is no siphon or liquid CO2 in the atmosphere bottle, Need to invert the CO2 atmospheric tank for inflation

How to use it:
1. Put the gasket into the connector, confirm whether the intake valve and release valve are closed, and turn the pin switch of the small cylinder adapter to the top.
2. Connect the large carbon dioxide tank.
3. Connect the small soda machine co2 cylinder.
4. Turn the pin switch of the adapter to the bottom to fully open the cylinder valve.
5. Open the intake valve (the first valve from the large water tank, not the large water tank handwheel).
6. Easily open your big tank handwheel and listen to a little one. When you pinch it, open it a bit until it keeps open. Wait about 30-60 seconds until you hear no gas flow and filling can be completed.
7. After filling, turn the handwheel to stop the carbon dioxide.
8. Turn the pin switch to the top to isolate the soda cylinder.
9. Open the escape valve to release residual gas.
10. Remove the small cylinder.
Please pay attention: If the vial thimble is very thick and short and cannot be inflated, Hose will expand, please replace the thin thimble bottle. The atmospheric cylinder should have sufficient pressure, If there is no siphon or liquid CO2 in the atmosphere bottle, Need to invert the CO2 atmospheric tank for inflation

Only filled 3 bottles with this so far but it has been flawless. Easy operation, no leaking, solid build.

I’ve successfully used this to fill three cylinders. Freezing them in advance and following instructions are important. I don’t get anywhere near 400 grams and that is okay. I average 250 grams per fill. Remember this is highly pressurized gas, so be careful. This saves a lot of money and time since I don’t have to go to a store for a new cylinder.Having a plastic handle on the donor tank connector would be nice upgrade so I don’t need a wrench.

UPDATE: This product works well except for the fact that the connections do not rotate, so the angle of the tanks in relation to one another when connected may not be ideal, especially if filling with donor tank inverted. The only option is to try to rotate the smaller tank but this will twist the hose which is very stiff and pulls at the connections.I purchased a "1/8 Inch NPT Female Connector and 8mm Male Plug Fill Nipple Quick-Disconnect Set" on Amazon and added that to the end of the hose before it connects to the small 60L tank with gauge. This allows me to now connect and disconnect the hose there as well as rotate the 60L tank 360 degrees freely around the hose for ideal positioning. I noticed this added connector on another identical refill adapter for sale and wonder why it seems to be left off of this one as it seems rather necessary. We used a typical 20lb CO2 without siphon tube to be the donor tank. We froze the small tanks as recommended. Since C02 is a liquid, this product will only work with a normal C02 tank (without a siphon tube) if the donor tank is inverted upside down. This allows the liquid to flow downwards into the smaller tank. One of us held the donor tank upside down on the table and the other worked this adapter valve to fill the small tanks. If someone is not available to stabilize and keep the donor tank from falling over, then a stand that can hold the tank inverted would be required. The other option is to have a tank with a siphon tube inside. Such tank can fill other tanks while in the upright position due to the siphon tube bringing liquid C02 through the tube (like a drinking straw) and out to the other tank. I do not think a tank with a siphon tube can be used for anything other than filling other C02 tanks. It would have to be a dedicated donor tank and cannot be used with a keg or directly connected to soda machine as the siphon tube would prevent it from releasing gas in the typical manner. It took less than a minute to fill the SodaStream tanks. I opened the valve very, very slowly. i only needed to turn the valve about 30 degrees for optimal filling. We were able to fill the smaller tanks almost completely adding very close to the additional 14.5 ounces. The gauge has a range that is highlighted green that lets you know when the tank is full. I found that very helpful to know where we were in the filling process. The online videos and product video review here was very helpful in understanding how this filling adapter valve works.

The valve leaked around the stem the first time I used it. Then the valve broke during the second use and caused the full tank to rapidly empty. Really dangerous.

The Soda Machine CO2 Cylinder Refill Adapter worked great for filling the SodaStream bottles. I have two of them and I refilled both successfully without any issue. I tried another brand of refill adapter and never could get it to work after multiple attempts. My 2 cents, this one is not compact like other, but it works exactly as you would want. I am very happy with it.
