Installed on our Promaster roof. Seated and padded the sides with butyl tape/sealant and screwed the unit to the roof.

Exactly as advertised and easy to install. Could have used screws, but because of location felt it is not needed so used butel tape and self leveling sealant to attach to roof of van

Have purchased a few of these for running 8 AWG cable into my bus conversion from the solar combiner boxes. In this photo I'm running CAT5e for the surveillance system. Tightened up, the strain reliefs provide a good and solid grip on the cable, thus rendering it weatherproof. I applied a generous amount of butyl caulk to seal the base up to the body. A nice, reasonably inexpensive means to properly run your cables from the inside to the outside of virtually any structure. Cheers!
