First off this setup was not user friendly. Once I had it installed, it rained once and the entire thing fell apart. Don't waste your money!

I’ve had so many little visitors to my backyard since I put this out. Lots of chipmunks and blue jays have shown up, but the squirrels don’t seem terribly interested (yet). It was fairly simple to build. It would have been easier if there had been some starter holes in place to begin with, but nevertheless it only took about 30 minutes to put together and it’s very sturdy. The only thing is the mirror had a crack across the top of it, but I’m not terribly concerned about that. All in all, very good product. Would recommend.

I’d love to write one of those long Amazon reviews that are totally dire and funny at the same time, but this product is so bad it doesn’t deserve that.It came unassembled. that was unexpected but no biggie. I’m handythe instructions were poor and confusingthe materials are shoddy, the wood very cheapthe entire unit needs to be painted to avoid weather rotthe screws are low-quality phillips head, so easily strippednone of the parts are labelled, this matters because the leg installation is specificthe legs require a special short screwdriver to install due to the very tight anglesI’ve sent this back for refund. I’d beware any of the other products from this company that look to be exactly the same grade of quality.

Wood quality exceeded my expectations. Stained with linseed oil to weatherproof it prior to assembly. When mirror installed, it has a funhouse mirror vibe which I anticipate will amuse us more than the resident squirrels that we have named Piss Pot, his wife, Miss Pot and his mother in law, Squirelly McLean. Hubby helped with assembly as you do need a second pair of hands. Now we will experiment with different foods for our wild critter friends.

I love this! I was worried since I read the reviews first. But. I am so glad I didn’t listen to the bad ones. There is no way this is going to fall apart if you put it together right. Sturdy as heck!! I didn’t add the mirror part since I didn’t really feel it was necessary. But I cannot wait to get it outside for my furry outdoor friends.

This feeder is cute but that's about it. It is very poorly designed and put together. It literally came aper after the first rain and the first squirrel feeding. There are no nails or screws in the corner, and as a result, the corners came apart. The supposedly pre-drilled holes were a flop as well. The wood split during assembly and I had to glue several pieces back together before I could finish the assembly.It's simply not made sturdy enough to hang as advertised, as the feeder and platforms cannot support a couple of squirrels on it at the same time.Bottom line, it was just aweful.

I had assumed this item came assembled, as shown in the pic, so that was a little disappointing. The ad does not clearly state that assembly will be required, however, if you scroll down a little ways, one of the bullet points states "Easy assembly". So, I suppose that counts as fair warning (?). In any case, it was relatively easy to assemble. Took me about 15 minutes using an electric drill & screwdriver. It came together well and looks nice. As others have stated, though, the mirror could be of better quality. It's reflection is "fair". My bigger complaint is that the size of the mirror was a tad too wide to fit into the designated slot. I had to use a sharp pair of scissors to trim one side, which then made that side appear a little jagged. But, now it fits OK. Overall, I rate this item 4/5 because it's cute & very functional. The squirrels seem to enjoy sitting on the bench while nibbling. HAHA! :) For the price, this isn't a bad deal.

You have to smile when you see this thing! Not entirely sturdy but good enough for squirrels, right? I didn't use the mirror. My only suggestion is to bring down the price a few bucks :) But the squirrels give it a thumbs up!

It was relatively easy to assemble via the visual instructions. It looked great. Glue separated on the tray after 2-3 days. Came out this morning and the tray and bench seats were on the ground. It had separated at the joints of the square tray that seed goes on. I will use some strong wood glue to put it back together, but it would be nice if the parts I am not expected to assemble myself held together for more than 2-3 days. Squirrels did seem to enjoy it though, as I snapped this photo yesterday morning with one waiting patiently for breakfast.
