Needed a larger CMOS sensor and wavered between this camera (big files) and a less expensive smaller CMOS a7 model. Very happy went with A7Riva. I also use A7siii for video work. The detail in the files is awesome! Biggest downside is grain is introduced as early as 400 iso and anything above 800 is, to me, not good. The strength of this camera is the large file size under good lighting conditions. Other topic is the file size (which is great!) but understand disk space/vram needs for storing/editing, it will be slower processing these files at full size.

Never would have guessed it was a refurbished camera. Box & body looked like it was fresh from Sony. Went with body only since I didn't need all the extra 3rd party items from the package deal. I've been long overdue for an upgrade from the A7rii. The new button configuration & longer grip makes the camera more comfortable in hand. Saving over a grand by going this route was a huge help. And yes, I was able to register the body with Sony for the standard warranty.

A7R4 came in original box with all original accessories. I was nervous to buy from this seller, but felt an added security with Amazon as the middle man. The camera looks and functions as new.
