This package must have been in a second-hand store and then sold here. Biggest scam! The pencils aren't sharp, this package has been rummaging around for years before this seller flogged it on Amazon. Posting says "Staedtler Store" but it's a reseller with no connection to new products from Staedtler. Product has changed since the last time I bought them a year ago. They now say "Upcycled Wood" and the quality has deteriorated. The graphite is soft and slippery and doesn't write well. Don't waste your money on this sub-par product and don't support sellers that send you secondhand goods.

These are my go-to pencils whenever I buy them. They don't require excessive sharpening, the lead is dark, and they erase well. The wood also doesn't have burrs after sharpening, which is a plus.

The package was opened and torn - like I was given a previously returned product. These are also not the OG Staedtler pencils. They write like plastic soft pencil writing and not the strong writing that I like. I don't recommend buying these.
