I just received these today and already am having problems sharpening them. The points too easily break, wasting the pencil. I do not recommend them at all. Too bad because I absolutely love my Staedtler Ergosofts.

the triangular barrel doesn't fit in a razor sharpener, and is too lopsided to use a knife. But they are comfortable to hold (if you never want a point)!

Love these pencils and their triangular shape. They are perfect for my preschooler and color very well.

These are reasonably expensive colored pencils but they are worst than the 'cheap' brands. Love the colors but the leads break very easily and sometimes the whole lead falls out of the back or the pencil. The triangle shape means that one side is not usable and requires sharpening again and again.
