Quality control is awful.Box got swapped with a neighbors so we had to go switch boxes with them.Second the pencils are poorly sharpened and one was broken out of the box with the tip completely gone.The pencils are not drilled center so the pigment is not even centered properly for proper sharpening.This is likely why other reviews say they cannot sharpen or they keep breaking.Next time I will be buying the high quality artist ones. It's really sad that trusted companies go the route of selling poorly manufactured products and hopes no one notices.Trust me we notice.

Great variety of colors.Quality cores.Triangular barrels are nifty.Smooth application onto sketch pads.Horrid internal packaging... The carriers for the pencils are not only really flimsy, but the indentions for removing the upper 24 is hard to access.

Complete garbage used black pencil every time I sharpen it lead completely breaks off now pencil is 1/2 gone within an hour of use very disappointing

I know these are super cheap, however they lack color names and numbers. I was going to return them but ultimately decided to keep them for my nieces and nephews.

my autistic 20 year old son likes to color in adult coloring books with colored pencils, i purchased him the Staedler colored pencils 72 count and he had no issue, however we had a different and unpleasant experience with the 48 count colored pencils, they broke when sharpened and were essentially useless because they broke when he attempted to use them.

There arnt 48 different colours. They are two trays with the same 24 colours. A little deceptive. There isn’t even a full range of colours. No greens at all or black?

I've been buying Staedler pencil crayons for years. This pack for whatever reason were not at all what I am used to seeing from Staedler. The lead breaks constantly. They don't sharpen as easily as my others and overall colour more like crayola. This was very disappointing.
