The ruler is fragile and once bent will never return to its original form because the metal is thin. My ruler was sent to me in a paper delivery sack instead of a box. Somewhere between distribution and delivery, it was subjected to an external force that bent it at the 2” mark rendering it in accurate/useless. I was expecting it to be a bit more durable and not as susceptible to being permanently bent, so I hope your delivery goes better than mine did. Be aware, even if it shows up straight, you’ll need to ensure it isn’t put in a position to be bent or you’ll be buying a new rulesr, like I had to.
