Purchased Feb25 - NT Australia. Product arrived promptly with tracking. This Starlink Mini mount is truly a well designed and solidly manufactured bit of kit. The untidy laser cuts mentioned in other reviews were NOT evident on mine. Cuts were clean and tidy, with the protective plastic layer on the aluminium still intact.A printed assembly / contents page was packed with the kit. Nuts and bolts were well contained in a plastic bag. The assembly is straight foward and took approx 10 mins with only basic tools required. I used some additonal stainless steel spring washers, loctite and packing to absolutely ensure road vibrations over time aren't going to loosen any of the mounting kits nuts and bolts. I have since field tested the Mini Magnetic Mount on the roof of a 4WD - it hasn't moved at all after hundred kms of corrogated dirtroads and some travel on rough-as goat tracks. Im 100% confident this mount will not move at all despite poor roads/off road driving. I was concerned that accumulated heat from the sun may affect the Mini's operation, however found that after leaving the 4WD parked in full sun, with daily ambient temperatures of 38 degrees Celsius..... the Starlink Mini unit was flawless in operation. (White paint on my 4WD - darker colour paints might increase temperature) The SL unit also maintained excellent connectivity and high internet speeds whilst driving in all directions of the compass at up to 110km/hr. Also......changing power cords with the SL Mini mounted in the bracket - ISNT a problem at all.I intend using this same mount on a boat for coastal operations also.... again I'm 100% confident that the mount will hold and protect the Starlink Mini in place no matter the sea conditions encountered. Highly reccomend this product if you want to go mobile with your Star Link Mini. Cheers from NT 🇦🇺

Heavy duty metal frame which grips all 4 sides. Metal is not well galvanized so I would suggest spray painting with rust proof paint.Easy assembly although instructions are not the clearest so you will have to adapt your sequence. I would suggest mounting magnets first and don't overighten. The 4 screws attaching the plate on the right can be a little tricky to get in especially the last screw so keep all screws loose till you get all of them in. Remember that the plate that grips the frame goes on the outside of the frame as shown in the pic, that is not clear in the instructions although very logical. I really like the mount with the only improvements suggested to the manufacturer being better instructions,white color anti rust paint on the frame, higher precision placement of the last 4 set of screws on the plate.

We’re often in areas without service when off-roading and I need service always for work! This mount is a game changer. Securely holds our starlink mini on our side by side or truck. I’ve left it on the roof and towed going 70 mph and it didn’t budge! Been in the sand dunes and out in the desert on some rough trails and it stays put. Absolutely recommend this mount if you’re looking for a well made, sturdy mount to secure your expensive starlink. We did have to buy magnet pads separately that adhere to our roofs because the magnets on the mount will not stick to our aluminum roofs. Very impressed with the material used. Feels like my sister in laws pci mount. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+++++ easy install

For that price they should at least make smooth sharp edges on the frame, because it is easy to cut yourself.For positioning the Starlink into the holder I had to bend some edges because it would not fit and scratched the sides of the Starlink.

Installing the mount with the dish inside only took a few minutes. I did not drill a hole in the roof of my car for the cable because it will only be there until I use the dish elsewhere.Also, if you use the cable that came with the dish, the dish will not start because of the voltage drops below 12 volts through the long cable. I shortened the cable and wired it to a heavy-duty lighter plug, and the dish started up and worked great.Also, I was concerned that the WiFi signal would not penetrate the stainless bracket and the metal roof of my car. There were holes in the bracket, and I assume they were placed to ensure that the WiFi signal was not affected.One suggestion, use thread locker on all the screws to ensure that they do not come loose.I received a good signal on my first trial, except under roads with a tree canopy. I drove to the interstate, and WiFi speeds ranged from 50MBs to 120MBs down and 18 to 20MBs down, going up to 80 mph.The dish did not move in any way during my drive.The next day we took a short trip going 150 miles and had good connectivity the entire trip. My wife was driving, and I used my iPad for half the journey.It takes both hands to dislodge one side of the dish. Once it is lifted on one side the other side will come up.I recommend this bracket.
