A hard case for the components would be nice to have. The plastic pouch will not hold up well in the tool box.

As said not cheap but quality. I binned of half the price between a cheap set, which fell apart, then slightly more on a set from machine mart which don't run well and have worn. These fit and run smoothly so are easy to use and seem to have a tough finish.

It is a Starrett, that already describes it fairly well. For the price, it could come with a better "home", something like a wooden box or at least a plastic box. Works very well with my mill. Impressed with the quality of the set.
