This is a perfect unit for our new garage. There are many different inputs. The unfortunate one so far is the radio. It’s very weak as a receiver. We have a good local channel and I can’t get a clear signal in my kitchen. That.. one thing.. is about the only complaint with this unit. Well that and it’s not actually a 2.1 system. It’s stereo only. In case you didn’t know, the 2 means (Left and Right Stereo) the .1 part means Subwoofer. There are no subwoofer controls or outputs, only stereo.Okay the good stuff… I have tried Bluetooth on different devices, and it works great. That’s one of the main points to this one. I wanted a wireless system for my phone when I’m working in the garage. I also popped in some MP3’s and WMA’s on an SD Card (Well micoSD in an Adaptor) and it recognized it immediately and played the first song in the first folder. It was also VERY loud and 0030hrs and scared the absolute crap out of me. LOL I didn’t expect that it would kick in so very quickly.I have some beefy speakers connected and it’s very loud. What I noticed is there are 3 different volumes to worry about. The source, the remote and the physical dial on the device. I like that and don’t at the same time. But it does allow for finite volume controls. The other boosts that help with loudness is the bass and treble dials. (Bass is at 2/3’s and the Treble is 100%) You can also use equalizers on the source device so there are many volume controls for perfect sound. The source matters more than I expected where the BT inputs seem a little tamer than the SD card. That seems WAY louder. So it depends on the true source. There are mic inputs for DJ or Karaoke.. but we won’t be doing any of that here for now. There are also line ins/outs for other amps/boards etc to expand out. Honestly its very good. I can’t confirm 1000watts with a sound dyno but I will admit that 1000watts PEAK is very plausible here, it’s capable of loud. 4.5 stars due to the radio, but since I can’t give fractions, I am rounding up to 5.

New technology to make use of older technology (the speakers). This was easy to connect and use and helps bring my old speakers into a new era. The Bluetooth is great and the options for playback are really useful.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Wow. I love it.⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Hey, this is pretty great.⭐⭐⭐ = Meh. It's okay but I don't love it. Someone might like it.⭐⭐ = Not great. Best to avoid.⭐ = Nope. This is bad.

It works well for our outdoor space. Has good sound. If you like music stupidly loud you may want a larger system. But works well like I said for our space . We can rock out really well.

The Stereo Receiver & Amplifier (ASIN B0CY27V377) from NEOHIPO came complete with remote.Out of the box the first amp I received had the volume buttons broken off/pushed in (even though there were no physical signs of damage to box). Seller promptly replaced unit with another. Unfortunately, the second unit had something rattling around inside. I opened it up and found a loose screw. I was unable to see where it belonged so I simply removed it and closed up the amplifier. From the outside the unit looks ok but it's clear it's a budget amp (check out the inside picture, note the volume knobs - glued in - and the component quality used). Does it work? Sure it does. That said, I don't trust the ad claims; they state 1000w in one spot, 500w in another, 192w in yet another and 96w x 2. I understand peak and RMS, but pick a #. At any rate, this is a fine gadget if you wish to breathe life into a pair of speakers you have kicking around (I paired it with a set of PSB Alphas). It was able to drive them with no issue, however, while sound produced isn't audiophile quality (nor did I expect it to be), it is more than passible/enjoyable. This would make a great addition to a rec room or garage, and if you want to pair it with a set of mics, you have yourself an instant karaoke setup. The amp also supports Bluetooth as well, which is a nice touch. Pair your phone and instant tunes. Also comes with an easy to use remote - though amp power switch HAS to be turned on for it to work - and the volume dials stay illuminated bright blue when turned off by the remote. Some may find that annoying. I should also note that I did not see any safety certification markings on the unit (CSA/ETL/UL), so that's an automatic star deduction. Overall, if looking for something to drive a pair of speakers you have hanging around the garage or rec room, you could do worse.
