I purchased while on sale for $39 and base my rating on the price. It's a nice display. Looks beautiful, love the felt inlay and added decor on the bottom. However I deducted 1/2 a star for 2 reasons: 1) It's light, quite a bit lighter than my other 8-holder sword racks. 2) There were some rough finishes on the wood, especially near the felted areas. Also the gold stickers aren't straight - but that's a minor issue. Overall for the price I paid it does the job. I ordered 2 and will most likely order a 3rd.

The quality control 4 out of 10. Okay for a kids thing nothing more. But for the price it does the job.

I got this to hold up some real Katanas I had from a couple hundred years ago as these looked amazing in the photos, but i was horribly surprised when it arrived. The wood looks like decent quality, but the little red felt prt that holds the Katana is so darn cheap, the glue used is so bad that its come loose on both of them (I got a 1 tier and 2 tier, and they both have the same issue. What these do well is when screwed together, its a pretty solid/sturdy unit. Im just not a fan of how cheap it feels, I was expecting too much I suppose. I have a few Katanas worth several thousands of dollars and would NEVER put them on these now that they have arrived and ive seen them in person.Very much disappointed, wouldnt recommend.

As of this review writing my katana to go with this wall mount is on order, so I placed another blade I cannot write the name of (for review purposes) but many many recognize, which is sort of a mini katana designed for ultimate personal defense and which I also highly recommend. But I digress... this is about the wall mount itself. There were some minor defects you might notice in the image, what almost looked like minor damage to the simulated wood. Putting together the product is easy, and does not need instructions, nor were any included. I feel like the box should have had some foam or a little more insulation of some kind, and I am wondering if the unit was slightly harmed during either packaging or transportation, but again the inference is minor. It's just... if you are going to display a beautiful blade, you want the display itself to likewise be pristine. That said, the design itself is gorgeous, and provides easy access to your blade if your Samurai abode is overtaken by ninjas. So you could say... it is to die for. One set of hooks it for your sword, the other for it's sheath — or two swords in their sheathes, or without them, I suppose. But this company also has a larger, 4 hook display option as well, aesthetically identical but more suited for two blades. An elegant weapon needs to be displayed according to it's more civilized age. This Katana wall mount by FOXSMZZ will provide you with just that function.And... if you don't have a blade in the meantime, it's great for other things like trucker hats or studio headphones! :)
