These assemblies arrive in plastic sleeves filled with oil.Can you explain why stainless past must be protected in oil?Is these items really made of Stainless steel?Time will tell.Also, the rivet holding the blades together are showing signs of corrosion, freshn out of their sleeve.Better product can be found else where.I do not recommend this product.

The quality of the product is not that is shown in the pictures. Expected the product to be stainless steel but it came with rust marks. Had to clean the gauges.

I didn’t expect much for the price. Quality is poor with sharp edges and bad finish in general. The stamping is uneven and rough. They came packed in oil that smelled like dirty used oil. I soaked the things in acetone and the grit and grime that came out was amazing. Like they were assembled on a dirt floor. One would assume since they are “stainless steel” no packing would be needed. Some stainless is magnetic but none of the stainless in my shop is as magnet as this stuff which is essentially the same magnetic attraction as steel. While I can’t make any claims without testing my guess if this is stainless it is of the poorest quality. Im not sure what gauges would be better besides just buying German, Japanese or USA made. If you just need some knock around radius gauges then by all means give these a shot. If you have a few extra bucks to spend then buy something else. These are of the absolute poorest quality.
