Very attractive-looking radio/CD player. The CD player at the top is particularly compactly designed. But it would not turn on even with a set of brand-new out-of-the-package C batteries. And would not turn on plugged into a working AC/DC outlet. So something must have happened to the switch in-factory or in-transit. None of the turn-ons worked---not for the AM/FM radio or for the CD player. Maybe a double-box for shipping would be a good idea.

To be fair, it’s a cheap player, but I don’t like it. The sound quality isn’t very good, it peaks very frequently. Luckily, my dad was able to repair a much better player that I thought was broken. So if you’re into good sound quality, this might not be for you. But it does at least get the job done.

My area is too remote to get much radio reception so I use this as a cd player. By opting for damaged packaging I got an excellent price on an undamaged player. This is not an instrument for professionals but it is super for playing cds while engaged in other tasks or relaxing on the deck. Perfect for my needs.

Well, where to start. I returned this product after some minutes of use. This little radio with CD looks NOTHING like the stock image. The build is terrible, the chassis feels flimsy (the plastic of the handle was so thin I could bend it by only grabbing it). I have had worse, I thought. Nope, this is even worse than the worst. Sound quality is like playing an iPod through an empty coffee can. And, worst of all, my CD wasn't even working. OUT OF THE BOX, FRESHLY-SET ON MY COUNTER. I've never felt so scammed in my life. I don't know why Amazon keeps on selling this radio. Stay away from this thing.

Bought for my kids read along books and they love it.. The CD player is easy for them to use and it works well and the sound is great. Happy with the purchase.
