The ball is very soft and smooth so it doesn't hurt when receiving spikes. Great quality. Hopefully it'll last a while.

So far, it's a great ball for the price. We joined a sand volleyball league and it's too much to gather the team to practice. I bought this to practice at home and it didn't take long to get really good at controlling the ball in different situations.

My previous experience is that Tachikara makes the best volleyballs and this one is no exception. I hadn't played volleyball in over 20 years so the sensi-tec surface on this ball is new to me. I like it immensely. I use it for recreational play and I find it easier to set the ball because the surface is not as slippery as the older leather balls. It holds air very well too. I had it for about a month and hadn't had to refill the air. I also like having a choice of colors for the multi-colored panels.
