I didn't find out Riobi made a larger unit until I already had this one, but this one has power!! There are three settings and the larger, 4 hr battery, gives you plenty of air flow. Perfect for what I needed.

I purchased this portable fan that runs on a Ryobi battery, and it’s been a lifesaver! Power out for 6 days due to hurricane, so I ordered these Ryobi fans and best thing is I was able to comfortably sleep all night. I am ordering a couple more because I like them so much and the fully charged batteries lasted more than 24 hours. Ease of charging battery so I kept spare batteries charging at neighbors that had Genrac and would swap out because I have all Ryobi tools and the batteries are interchangeable which gave me plenty of batteries on hand. Highly recommend. The bonus is the fans have charging port to change cell phones too. I absolutely love these fans.

This is a nice little fan to add to your collection of tools if you have Ryobi style 18v batteries. (Battery not included as it clearly says in the product description.) It has 3 fan speeds, they don't push quite as much air as they probably should, but it is fine for most purposes. Also has a built in light with 3 brightness settings, that is a plus - great for outdoors in the evening or use during a power outage.Contrary to what others have said, you CAN use the light without the remote (really don't see a use for the remote other than the timer settings that aren't important to me). For the fan, a quick press and release of the switch adjusts it through the settings - low, medium, high, off. For the light, hold the switch for about two seconds and release to move through the settings.
