It was great, the thing lived on for days (unfortunately he was very needy so if your not committed on taking care of him would not recommend) if your willing to cater to a loving relationship with this thing definitely recommend

Great little toy for our daughter. Its interactive and she loves taking care of her digital pet. The sound can be turned off which is appreciated sometimes.

I was so excited to get this. I obsessively played with these things as a kid! I know this toy is meant for kids, but as an adult who wanted the nostalgia, I couldn't resist getting one of these. It is not even remotely close to how good the original was. For one, it's way smaller than the original, making it difficult to see the screen. It doesn't have many of the features the original has either, no connection, no shop, only one game to play, and the noises it makes is not like the original either.All in all if you want to get one for your kids then it's okay, but I'm surprised that after all these years Bandai finally starts making these again and they are so cheap and garbage.

The volume is no joke on these, a few people mentioned how much louder they are now and it's very noticeable. I drove my cat and dog from the room within minutes.Other than that it's a delight, very nostalgic!

This is exactly like the tamagotchi I had as a kid. Complete with all of the same annoying beeps and boops. My daughter loves it and I can’t stand the thing and now I understand how my own mother felt back when I had one. I guess it also means that I’ve now become a cranky middle aged woman. The important thing is, the kids love it and it stays true to the original version. My only gripe is that the screen can be hard to see because it’s got no lighting, so you need to be where it’s bright enough to see it.

Funktioniert super, wie damals. Leider habe ich es noch nicht länger als 7 Tage am Leben erhalten. Es stirbt nach 7 Tagen, obwohl es kurz vorher noch in allen 3 Kategorien vollstens zufrieden ist. Irgendwie eigenartig.

Meine Frau und ich haben uns dieses Spielzeug gekauft, weil wir früher selbst mal ein Tamagotchi hatten. Durch die Neuauflage von Bandai war es möglich, wieder eines zu erwerben und das zu einem äußerst fairen Preis. Die erste Generation lässt sich ganz genauso spielen wie damals, auch wenn die Farben der Tamagotchi-Gehäuse und die Verpackung anders sind. Das ist auf jeden Fall nicht dem Spaß nachträglich. Für Fans des Spiels auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! :)
