very nice kit loved building this on ,Tamiya makes very detailed model kits and they go together very well, great stuff.

Its a Tamiya kit so.. expectation is super detailed and very crisp parts. This model did not disappoint.Clear parts are really nice and look to scale.The OG coloured parts could almost be not painted , just weathered to cover up any glue imperfections..Has 2 x 1:48 scale figures included so excellent for an aircraft WW2 refuelling 'diorama' more suitable for posing with a single engine USAAF fighter than a 4 Engine USAAF Heavy bomber..Highly recommend this nice model

自分は同キットのマスタングを完成しましたので、こちらのローリーを仕様して、WW2ヨーロッパ戦線のジオラマを製作中です。フィギアは、ローリーに寄り掛かる士官と給油装置を持った整備兵の1体ずつ付属しています。

同シリーズの2.5tトラックの姉妹品ですが、なぜかシャーシーがダイキャストからプラ製に変更されています。その他の足回りパーツは2.5tトラックと共通です。不思議な事に、「新規設計の不要パーツ」として2.5tトラックの予備タイヤラック等が付属します。いずれプラシャーシーの2.5tトラックが出る前触れでしょうか？フューエルトラックの見せ場である給油ホース＆リール辺りは少ない部品でうまく再現しているのですが、残念な事に、給油ホースのビニールチューブがかなりの反発素材で、リールにビチッと巻いても、元に戻ろうとする反発性で、リールからほどけてしまいます。チューブの中に芯として銅線を入れる事にはなっていますが、あまりに非力で、ビニールチューブの反発性を抑える事は出来ません。もう少し太い針金を芯にすればうまくいくかもしれません。そんな素材の給油ホースですから、それを小さなフィギュアに持たせても、ホースごとフィギュアが宙に浮いてしまいます。作例も浮いてしまいました。ホース素材を、1/35の工作で使う「鉛製のライトコード」等に置き換えた方がいいのかもしれません。ところで本キットはキャブの部分が2.5tトラックと交換がきくので、試しに作例ではキャブをオープンキャブに変えて写真を撮ってみました。雰囲気がガラッと変わりますね。

I am building a diorama for a South Pacific P38 getting fueled and ready to go on a mission. I didn't know what to expect with this model but decided I needed something so I purchased it. WOW, the fit and finish of the parts is EXCELLENT! The flash and mold lines are practically non existent and the detail is beautiful! Down to the faces and fingers of the figures. This set comes with three a figures, the two that you see in the illustration and a driver. It also comes with a bunch of parts that are not used some of which I plan to use in the diorama I am building (the two jerry cans for sure). As others have mentioned the driver figure does not have any instructions however if you know your right from your left and where the head belongs you can figure it out. The coloring was a bit light for me and I sprayed the whole thing on the sprue with Tamiya Color XF62 Olive Drab. It looks great and once the weathering is done it will really pop. Great purchase, a little pricey but all in all a fantasitc kit!!!

Great kit. Wish they had more usaaf and usaf ground support equip. for ww2 aircraft in this scale and 1/72 scale. Would recommend this kit to any serious WW2 Aircraft model builders in this scale.
