It's pretty durable for the price and a good beginner board. It held up well on ramps, which I was surprised my daughter picked up so fast. The only down side was that the trucks are plastic and my kid picked up boarding fast and needed metal trucks instead to handle the speed and turns she was taking. But, like I said she caught on fast she was hitting ramps it took me years to get the guts to do. It's a good starter board just remember if your kid gets serious about the sport you will need to upgrade to an element board or something of that nature that has the better more quality metal trucks.
