I bought this as a kind of joke at work. I usually leave it on the happy side, unless one of the thing we use that kinda looks like an octopus causes issues, then I simply switch it to the angry side.Even after several months, it still brings us some joys when the thing in question is giving us some headaches.As a bonus, it's also a nice little thing we can throw at each other that won't harm anybody.

We have this routine with my girls. Once they brush their teeth and clean up, get into PJs and tuck themselves in, we turn off the lights. I take my pocket flashlight and “draw” on these stuffies (we have cat and octopus) the bright flashlight leaves a clear and precise pattern (if I take my time) and they glow for hours. It’s a routine, a nightlight, soft cuddly, and bribe tool. Love it. I posted pics of them glowing. The cat photo turned out better but the octopus looks just as good. With a narrow beam bright flashlight you can literally draw details, write words, lasts long but is a gentle glow they can stare at as they fall asleep.

It does glow in the dark but its not super bright. Only complaint is that due to the vac bag it came it its like super wrinkly and I don’t know how to fix it, otherwise great quality product

I totally get why these went viral, they are so adorable! I got the glow in the dark octopus on sale, it was a good time to try these out.The glowing effect is strong, the plush is very cute too. The only draw back is it came vacuum-sealed so one of the sides is still very wrinkly after about a week. I guess I'll need to wash and dry thumble it.I still recommend it, it makes a nice toy, a way to express your feelings without using words, it will display well once puffed up.I bought the tarentula-pumpkin one, it's on it's way, I'm sure it will be very cool too!
