Great mount and is very solid. Bolted right in no issues. Had to open up one of the holes larger to fit the Right Channel Radios super heavy duty stud mount on there but it had plenty of room to spare and am running it with that stud mount a spring and 4' FireStik. Not issues and we run very aggressive trails in our Jeep TJ.

I installed this on my Jeep TJ tail light. It works perfectly! This one was not like the one in the photo - it had more than one hole to mount more than one radio (HAM, anybody?). I found this to be a pleasant surprise. It is also angled to try to get it closer to the corner of the vehicle than behind it.I opted for the passsenger-side bracket because I didn't want to see it in my mirror with the top down.

A good product for the most part a couple things you should know...You have to drill a hole in your Jeep to make it sturdy, DO NOT rely on the tail light mount bolts alone to hole it in place, with an antenna it will put a lot of stress on those bolts and they were not designed for that use, I would also recommend using a spring mount for more flex as well.Sand off the powder coat in the hole you are going to mount the antenna in and around the hole in your jeep tub that you drilled to give you a good ground plane, I used this mount for a Firestik and this was necessary to get a good SWR.
