Package states will cut up to 16 gauge stainless steel wire and this is what I bought it for. I realise that there are different grades of stainless steel. I work with 16 gauge stainless steel hog rings these cutters would not even leave a mark on the hog rings.

Wrap Maker pliers are not described properly and they do not work as shown. The jaws will not hold wires securely while holding the wrapping wire? If wrapping 3 or 4 base wires with a half round wire, only 2 of the base wires are held properly and the jaws will not close enough to hold the half round. Looked like a good idea, but definitely do not work.

鱚投げ用の天秤造りのアイを造るために購入ＮＴスイベルのステンレスワイヤーなら比較的楽に曲げられる。張りのある宝福印の高硬度ステンレスワイヤーを曲げるには握力が必要。径も1ｍｍくらいまでで1.2ｍｍのワイヤーだと難しい。最細2ｍｍ迄対応なのでいろいろに使える。

Perfect for doing macromaille. Most of my tiny work is made with 2.5 mm to 3.0 mm jumprings. These pliers were perfect to accomplish my finish products.
