I used this yesterday and it worked great. Get a can of marker spray paint, load it in, and roll it down the log. Very handy tool. Would recommend to anyone who cuts firewood. It's a must have tool. Your stacks of would will look nice.

Love this new tool (toy?). Works like a charm marks cuts at exactly 16”. So easy to use. Only problem is the tip of the spray can will freeze in cold weather. But that’s no biggy.

Its a real time saver to get same-length firewood compared with other methods and works good most of the time. I have to say though it cannot be used in very cold weather because the spray can will freeze and also if the tree is covered with ice the wheel tends to slip which is annoying.

This thing works incredibly well new at being a homesteader. You need to cut my own wood. Really like how this works. Unique woodstove in the fact that it takes a particular size and I wanted to be just under that so the right and this thing works very well, you can measure and cut all the wood by yourself without needing an extra hand

Great unit came with 16” wheel. Loved mine so much I ordered one for a friend. Amazon was to expensive for an 18” wheel so ordered one from the manufacture. Could use some improvements with the handle it is short but depending how your set up it works good.

I love my mingo marker! Using the mingo marker cuts off approximately 30 minutes of the time it takes me to cut a load of firewood. Without the mingo it took me about 4 hours now it only takes me 3.5 hours so I would say it was worth the investment. Plus it makes marking your tree hastle free, the days of using a cheater stick are a thing of the past!

Keep the back end close to the log you’re marking and you’ll get a small paint mark if it’s to high you’ll end up with a large paint markI like the Mingo it works

Works well but very cheap construction, similar to a kids toy..probably cost less than $5 to make, nice mark up for the manufacturer !

The sticker on the unit was very worn and difficult to read. I have not appealed to the seller about this but hope they can provide a sticker for me. I feel like their quality control department could use some assistance. I marked some fallen tree pieces and it worked well. I’m glad I bought it. My chainsaw bar is 16” long but some of those inches are inside the power head. So using my bar as a guide for my desired firewood length of 16” (the standard for firewood) did not work. I ended up with 14” pieces. So this is a helpful tool for me - at least until I get to the point of being able to perfectly eyeball a 16” cut. According to what I read, I should get into the thousands of paint marks before I run out of my current can of yellow marking paint. Value score is because I think it is a tad expensive for what it is. Great idea though. Accuracy would probably improve if I could roll the painter faster and without rolling it on bumpy, twisty oak that causes a longer paint spot. I cut right in the middle of each paint spot. Very easy to use and it holds the paint can securely. At first I had not pushed the paint can in far enough. Once it snaps into place, it is correctly installed.
