Good hobby saw, I use it for RC trail trucks for cutting bodies works well on both lexan or hard body with the such fine teeth and different attachments. Recommend

Ein weiteres schönes und nützliches "Tamiya"-Werkzeug in meiner Modellbauwerkstatt. Die kleine Säge liegt prima in der Hand und ist weit weg von den Billig-Produkten. Die Sägeblätter sind sauber ausgeführt und stabil; wie auch andere Käufer schreiben bin ich auch der Meinung, das die Zähnung etwas feiner sein könnte oder ein feinerer, zweiter Satz Blätter beigefügt sein könnte. Das wäre mir auch noch ein paar Euro mehr wert gewesen. Aber auch so ein tolles Werkzeug.Fazit: prima Qualität, die ich sofort wieder kaufen würde.

Item as described, but as any thin blade, especially with a longer blade, one must be carefull once cutting with it. The blade tends to want to bend a bit. But, it is fine with hard wood (must be slow during cutting) and plastic.It was a good acquisition, recommended.

I bought a wood handled Zone 4-in-1 craft saw a year ago that was pretty good, but found that it was only useful for larger projects. I needed something for more delicate work with plastic model kits, which the Zone was not suitable for at all.So, this Tamiya saw arrived today and I tried it out on some a couple of test kits and found it worked beautifully! The cuts are easy to do with out a lot pop pressured needed. They are very precise going exactly where you want them to go, and. the cuts are also very thin thereby wasting very little plastic and creating nice tight joints.If anyone bought to use for working with any material harder than styrene plastic then you bought the wrong tool. This is for delicate precision work and I have very happy with how it performed today. I'm excited to start my next model kit project and customize the build.Highly recommended for plastic model kit builders and enthusiasts.

Les lames sont très facile à insérer et à fixer solidement. L'outil tient bien en main. La lame fine est flexible mais ne se déforme pas tant que la flexion reste endéans certaines limites.J'utilise cet outil pour percer des orifices rectangulaires dans des plaques d'aluminium (épaisseur 1.5 à 2mm) qui me servent à réaliser des boîtiers électroniques.Un avant-trou de 2.5mm est suffisant pour démarrer le sciage au milieu de la plaque. Un peu de patience et de soin pour créer la rainure mais après tout va très vite (et très droit). Finissage à la lime.Excellent outil pour ce genre de petite opération de précision.

Great quality at an affordable price. This Tamiya saw kit delivers! I use it for putting together model cars made from plastic. This little saw works really well. Precision made steel blades cut through polystyrene plastic easily. The shaft is hard fibre plastic that has 12 flat sides for grip. The knurled steel end is about an 1 1/2 inches long and holds the saw blades securely.

I've used this a few times so far, sharp teeth cuts quickly. Excellent for those small little cuts!
