Oats add a lot of carbon and organic matter to soil and are not hard to till under. Oats can also be grown for use as cat grass and for providing healthy greens to other pets.

Sow oats in the spring, mid-summer or late summer, 8-10 weeks before the first frost. A bag of 1 OZ seeds covers approximately 25 sq ft.

A bag of 1/4 LB seeds covers approximately 100 sq ft.

Plant rate: 500g covers 438 ft.

Upon receiving the package, I weighed the two bags and was expecting 1LB as described in the le title of the item and in the description. The bags did not weigh the same and the total was definitely not 1 LB (nor 500g). Other than that, the packaging looks good, I didn't open the bags since I decided to ask for a refund so I can't say if the content is good as well...
