Seller never claimed it was a replacement for 34108178A-6....I was just desperately hoping. This will NOT fit Greenworks STA805 in case you were wondering. Trust the seller's item description.

I bought these as compatible and for a 40 V weed snipper and they are thicker strings than for 20 V equivalent cartridges and they work as expected and good quality. The 40 V snippers handle, thicker and more difficult growth and if the slightly thicker strings are slightly more expensive it is well worth the money as they hold up well and do the job that’s expected. That said looking at what I paid for a 20 V appropriate strings in the past, these things are not really any worse in terms of price otherwise and they are easy to change

These replacement parts are a great price!You even get a new disc cover! Delivery was fast and video available online helps with installation of the new discs. There are so many options, so be sure you check your weed whacker for the correct serial number for the replacement spools!

These spools were supposed to fit the Yardworks trimmer which works good. They are not compatible with the existing version on the trimmer.

I have a Greenworks 40 volt line trimmer. I lost the spool cap cover rendering the machine useless. I ordered these caps through Amazon and they arrived quickly and fir the trimmer perfectly.

Cap fits real tight and the spools of line don't quite spool out smoothly, but could be my weed eater is 6 yrs old and getting worn out

Now before I begin; just a bit of background. For some odd reason; Amazon randomly will not positive feedbacks for no reason. This happens quite a lot; and Dumb-azon really can't provide an explanation; so I have to re-post my Review again. Which also means my pictures with my Reviews are removed; sorry folks.I couldn't believe it when I searched on Amazon for a replacement Spool for my Grass Trimmer that I came across this Single Line Spool for Greenworks. This Single Line Replacement Spool for my Yardworks Trimmer is $12.00 each at other Big Box Stores. Well I took a chance with buying this one and did it ever pay off; like Cha-Ching! Even though this Spool is advertised that is designed for Greenworks Trimmer; it did fit my Yardworks Trimmer easily. After comparing the details and images; I took a leap and opted to buy it. It was only $17.00 for 6 which in my books is a Bargain Basement Bonanza Sake!Yee Haw Little Cowboy's.Everything looked promising and when the Order arrived...Whammo; I quickly teared open the Packaging and inserted the Spool and what ya know.........it worked! Amazing.I was able to trim my front yard and wow; did it perform.Ideally I saved close to $70.00!! Even if 4 of these Spools don't work; I still saved and made my money.Phew! Goes to show with a little research and anixety.....I think I made the right decision!
