Before beginning your project, please check wall surface type. Tiles work best on clean, flat and non-porous surfaces. Clean the surface with a degreaser such as TSP, wipe clean with a dry cloth and then make sure that surface is completely dry before applying tiles
Tic Tac Tiles are designed to have edges that give customers flexibility to install the tiles from either side. Depending on where you want to install first Tic Tac Tiles, first cut one side straight by cutting excess pieces.
Carefully peel the top first two inches of the tile backing without touching the adhesive. Slowly, align the tiles along the pre-drawn guideline and when overlapping only overlap on the grout lines, not on the tiles. On the last tile use the pieces you cut to start the first tile and fill in empty space on right edge of last tile.
Tic Tac Tiles are designed for application on smooth, non-porous, and non-crumbling wall surfaces.
- DO NOT APPLY on uneven, textured surfaces, greasy, oily, brick, stone, porous wood, or gypsum walls directly.
- Prepare latex, glass wall, laminated, or painted surfaces by lightly sanding then clean surface with a strong grease remover like Tri-sodium Phosphate (TSP). Make sure the surface is completely dry at least 24 hours before installation.
- If walls and tiles are cold, the tiles will not stick well. During the winter, the wall temperature is usually lower than room temperature so make sure that your walls are warm.
- Stove: Tic Tac Tiles can be installed on a surface where the temperature does not exceed 49 C (120 F). They are resistant to the heat of a stove. However, if you have a gas range without a back panel or metal plate, you must adhere to a 20 cm (8 inch) safety zone above the surface of the stove to avoid direct exposure to an open flame. Do not apply the tiles in the safety zone.
- Images may appear different from actual product due to lighting
- Removal: Use a heat gun or a blow dryer to warm up each tile sheet to soften the adhesive. After that, apply concentrated heat starting with the corner and pull it slowly and gently. Please take your time doing this step as some wall surfaces may be more delicate than others. Then, use a cleaning product to wash the wall and remove any excess glue left behind.

Very nice design but EXTREMELY odorous- very strong chemical smell. I even tried airing it out for a week outside and thought the smell would go away once it was put up, but the smell still stayed very strong, smelled like glue and gasoline fumes after a few hours and which also made us nauseated. Had to return.

Measure twice, cut once and don’t expect to be able to wiggle them in place… once it as much as senses the surface it sticks and good luck pulling it away!Strong smell once you get them out of the packaging, air them out and the smell will go away.

I put these on myself after moving unto my new place & boy has it given it a face lift. Very happy with purchase. I like the fact that they are square blocks & don't have to be matched up in a groove. Very user friendly, just very sticky!

In May, we installed this product on one of our kitchen walls (drywall) after presanding, cleaning with tsp, and allowing to dry thoroughly. It was initially gorgeous and we were so happy but after approximately 3-4 weeks, the adhesive started to loosen. Our wall is now a peeling mess and I wish we had just spent the money on real tiles rather than trying an easier way. Please think hard before making this purchase. We followed the instructions on preparation and installation and still ended up with a mess. Now, we need to remove these without damaging the wall and we'll be looking at what we should have in the first place.

Love my new tiles to brighten up an otherwise dull and dark kitchen. Very sticky and easy to use. I’m not the best with measuring, so the bottom looks a little sloppy.. but that’s my fault. Love them and will deffs be using again!

This has made such a difference in our kitchen. It's really brightened the room up. An easy, economical way to give a room some interest.It took about 2 hours to install. We had to degrease and clean the wall before that. We cut the tile with an exacto knife. One person job, the husband did it while I supervised. We've had it up a month and no issues.Also fantastic customer service.

I put these around a fireplace to cover up the dated existing tile. It doesn't get used so i'm not sure how they will stand up to the heat. But they look great. Can't tell they are stickers.

It is SUPER sticky- great to make sure it is going to stay up, but made it hard to install. We had to figure out the best way to line it up cleanly and quickly to prevent it from hitting the wall and sticking in the wrong place.

Very good product, it is easy to install if you are doing it with someone else. Very sticky which is good, in my case I used it in a wood cabinet, so be ware as it might pull out some of the wood if you need to remove it. In general very satisfied with the product, the colour and quality. I definitely would recommend it.
