These Ulable Heavy Duty Storage hooks are well made and strong. Each hook is 10" inches long with a useable length of 8.25" inches. They are strong enough to hold and support tires or other heavy objects. They also work well for ladders, paddle boards, skis etc ....The hooks have an orange silicone rubber coating on them and a 2" inch x 3.5" mounting plate. The set comes with screws and drywall anchors however in order to get the maximum strength and holding power from these hooks you really need to mount them into wooden studs with lag screws. The screws and plugs that come with this are not that great. I purchased some lag screws from my local hardware store and used those instead. I personally would not mout these brackets on drywall using the supplied anchors. Likewise I would not mount these brackets on concrete walls either with the supplied anchors.Overall I'm very happy with the build quality and performance of these hooks. They are well made and will support hanging tires or other heavy items from them as long as they are screwed into studs. For maximum strength I recommend using lag screws rather than the supplied hardware. The price of these garage hooks is $32.99. It cost me another $4.88 at my hardware store for lag screws. I did notice there are some other 10" inch garage hooks on Amazon for $35.99 which come with Lag Screws. If I needed another set I would compare pricing and probably order the set of hooks that comes with the lag screws if the price was cheaper or the same. Having the proper screws is important and having them included more convenient.Love the hooks ... just wish the screws were better. 5 Stars for the garage hooks, minus -1 star for the screws and anchors.
