I do a lot of hydraulic cylinders. Snap rings are large and strong and ya need something large and strong to deal with them. This set fills the bill and does the job. I particularly like the 90* degree angle ones for tight hard to reach spots. I HIGHLY recommend this set. I like the little case they come in. Keeps them all together and makes storage easy!

Decent set, does the job.My 1 complaint is that the ends of the pliers that engage the Snap ring holes are not long enough and/or serrated, so they slip off the Snap rings easily. Makes them a bit annoying to use.

Honestly when i first got the snap Ring pliers I thought they were just another cheap copy of a good brand. As a heavy duly mechanic I have use them for over one year and 1 am please to say that they work incredible well and that would 100% recommend this product to anyone starting in the field.

I bought these as I had a c-channel clip that I needed to install on a gear. I had purchased a cheaper versus at a local hardware store and the handle broke the first time I used it. I decided to buy these and they worked great! Highly recommended.

These will not work for most small clamps because the tips are too big in diameter. This is just poor manufacturing, not a wrong size. I returned and purchased a name brand (Irwin) of the same tool and they fit perfectly. The Irwin was more expensive, but at least it worked. You get what you pay for. Do not purchase this, especially if you are thinking of repairing a KitchenAid mixer. They will not work.

I was able to grind one down for a small ring a bought them for and I was worried it would break being so thin, however it didn't and held up well. All same size isn't very practical
