I was very disappointed by this item. I had purchased previously and loved it. However the paper has completely changed. The color changed from non-glare off white to bright glary white. And the QUALITY was worse; nice thick paper that I could use a variety of my pens with to a cheaper, thinner paper that allows bleed through and just isn't a good product. I'm very particular about the quality of the notebooks that I journal with and this just didn't meet quality standards.

I really think this notebook is nice. I usually use notebooks this size as a daily journal of convenience. But this one is too nice for that. I am going to use it for more timeless observations I would like to preserve.

I had the older version of this notebook and liked it a lot. It has a front slash pocket that was the perfect place to put a 5x8 inch memo pad. The new version no longer has the pocket, but it is much sturdier. I also like that my G2 pen fits in the spiral binding. I use this as a journal and it's the perfect size. I'm just missing that front pocket.

This is a great little notebook that is well made and very professional looking. It is reasonably priced yet does not look like a cheap Mead notebook. The spiral binding is large which enable you to fold the book over easily and without effort (important to me). You can even slip a small pen or pencil in the spirals for storage. There are a few handy "phone number", "contact information" and "dates" pages in the front and back. Finally, the pages are perforated for easy tear out. Overall, I love this notebook and will continue to buy them for my needs.

It's a solid notebook, rugged and uses good a good weighted paper. The double wire-binding makes the notebook lie flat. I use fountain pens and this doesn't bleed through. This is idea for work - taking notes is still the best way to take notes during customer visits because you can maintain eye contact. Plus, you need to save the notes for a long time. If you have these requirements, the this is your best option. Only drawback - it's a bit heavy if you travel a lot, so make sure to get the smaller size.
