I wanted smaller baseplates so my kids could take them when we go out to restaurants. They like to build while they wait for their food to arrive and these were the perfect size to put in a bag to build. They are perfectly compatible with branded Lego blocks.

These are nice half-size base plates that are completely compatible with LEGO bricks. These are like classic base plates, in that bricks can only be attached on the top side. The price point of $2.50 each ($10 for 4) is great, especially since you can never have enough base plates for kids to play on.

good quality. lego's stick well to it. these are flat plates, they do not attach from the bottom, only the top.
