Since the hole in the middle was too small I had to enlarge it. I took a small pair of scissors and slowly enlarged it. Now it works just fine. Your can buy it if you’re ready to risk ruining it and loose your money.

Although the product number is correct for my Toto toilet it did not fit because the small hole in the middle was too small to fit on the flush valve assembly. The diameter was correct but there was no way to get this part installed because of the small hole.

This gasket was vital for three Costco toilets whose original gaskets all blistered and started leaking about 4-5 years in. I would have bought an new flush unit if one was available, but if you're lucky enough that your search finds this guy, it's all you need.

Had a Costco watermark one piece toilet that kept intermittently filling. After an hour of trying to figure out why, I realised that the original gasket had shrunk and therefore was allowing water to slowly drain out of the tank. I took the toilet lid off, and popped open the dual flush value (just grab the top of the dual flush value, turn it 1/8 of a turn till it stops and lift up to take the dual flush valve assembly). The top half of the dual flush valve will then lift out of the tank and the gasket is then right there in your hand attached to the valve assembly. The gasket is attached to plastic rod the moves up and down within the assembly. Simply use a screwdriver to depress the tabs the hold the old gasket in place and replace with the new gasket. A 1 minute job at the very, very most... you don't event need to turn off the water or drain the tank (because it will flush as soon as you remove the top half of the value) Stopped my leaking toilet and saved me having to replace the entire valve (prices for the exact samedual flush valve assembly range on Amazon between $35 to $90 for the exact same valve assembly).

I ordered this part with the given part number on the Toto sink cover. It did not fit. I recently bought a home with Toto toilets and they are not simple like other brands. My plumber had to remove the entire toilet just to replace a part that would otherwise take 2 minutes with other products. Not sure why the part number did not match the proper part.

I have a 5 year old Gerber Dual Flush Toilet that struggles to retain water in the tank. After twisting Dual Flush Toilet Mechanism (GERBER 99-791 FLUSH VALVE KIT). I assumed the rubber gasket was worn down. I order this gasket by Toto 9BU088E and notice the gasket thickness shrunk only a little bit. The real difference was in the diameter. I replace the gasket with Toto 9BU088E, filled the tank and turned off the water. The system held the water overnight without any issues. Attach you’ll see pictures of the dual flush valve and the gaskets comparison.

As far as rubber gaskets go, this is top notch!
