These lead ropes have only two braided strands, not three like the normal thicker ones. Two strands makes them not as strong as the three strands lead ropes.

I like the softness of the rope, but overall quality is not good, it doesn't hold up. I only had mine about a month, and it started to shred apart.

Very cheap. Thin cotton rope, very cheap clip. Gives more of a pony lead rope.

Not thick enough to hold up when looped through a blocker at a tie up rail. Slips right through

The navy is a bit darker than average, but still goes well with my halter. The lead is long enough to tie a horse with its head down, but not so long that it drags or is annoying to hold. I like the weight and the overall feel of the halter- it is nice, thick cotton that should last a long time. Overall, I'm happy with this lead.
