It showed up twisted and in kinks, stuffed in the bag. The tassel end came frayed and with many strands tangled and ripped. The other end that was supposed to have a leather popper and loop was just wrapped with a piece of scotch tape that was not even on tight.Ive good luck with other tough one products in the past but this mecate was straight up junk. I wouldn't waste my time on it

Nice weight and comfortable reins but they absorb sweat and get stiff and gross and need to be washed often if you work your horse regularly.

Works like I hoped it would. I would like for it to be made of a little heaver material, but it has a good quality to it. For the price, I consider this a good deal.

This is the best rope I could find for my bittless bridal. Could also be used with my bosel. It is made of high quality yachting rope the frayed end is wrapped in rawhide to keep it from unraveling. It is long enough to tie reigns and a 12 foot lead rope for the Perreli natural horsemanship method of training. For instructions on how to tie it see the Perreli site. I thought the weave on the rope was too loose and would snag. I also prefer a little more stiffness in the rope.
