First of all the item is not as pictured, the underside of the material is not black cotton it’s cheap white batting that gets fiber strands all over my black stirrup treads. It’s annoying to pick fibers off everything and the fabric is not going to hold up over time since it’s constantly being shredded. The second issue is the stirrup pockets are too small. My stirrups are 4.25 with a wide-ish foot bed and they barely fit. I have to fight them in and out. Overall I wish I had looked for a different option.

These protect my saddle. Not real thick but does the job.

I use these to protect the leather on my dressage and jump saddles. I use 4.75” MDC irons and they are heavy. With these covers I don’t need to worry about the irons scratching the leather.

the best way to keep stirrups from banging on horse/saddle while lunging! what a deal, couldn't make it for the price. also, so much better than individual stirrup covers as the 1 piece stays in place & secure! easy on & off!
