used on a Holley Sniper 2 in a Cadillac 472 . This allows to fit a 5 inch filter element and does not hinder the throttle shaft movement . the "neck" that fits is a little over sized but still hits the gasket . the included offset lid screw is also a generous size to fit taller elements . not flimsy , great finish .

I had to return item, wouldn't fit. The description says 5 1/8" neck but wouldn't fit my carb hole is tapered slightly. My have worked it was a good idea.

After upgrade the distributor on my 302, I realized I was going to lose my custom air cleaner top and k&n filter and go to an ugly small diameter setup. Seeing this saved the day.
