Really like these clips. I use them to clip hay nets to stall walls for my horses. They have held up extremely well, no issues with them freezing. They do not get tangled in hay net ropes like other carbiners. Really recommend them!

I am a rock climber and a hiking guide. At 12kN, these are not for climbing, but pair them up and they can be used for lowering and such in an emergency. Also great for hauling a haul bag or other gear.When backpacking, I always clip 4 on my backpack and use them for hammocks, bear hanging kits, putting up my tarp and much more. Have even used them for emergency rappels. Again, only rated for 12kN, so definitely not for a dynamic load, but very capable of holding a static load in a pinch.

I like that these clips come in different colours and have a specific rating. Great for connecting objects to hang or pull--NOT FOR CLIMBING.

E' la seconda volta che compro 4 di questi moschettoni - anche se da venditori diversi, e nominalmente di produttori diversi, sono tutti uguali. Le recensioni indipendenti su YouTube sono chiare: sono molto più resistenti di quanto indicato, ma ovviamente inaffidabili per l'alpinismo, perché non collaudati sotto standard di qualità ufficiali. Io li adopero principalmente per tenere il cane e per assicurare oggetti allo zaino. Per questi usi sono ottimi, e li raccomando a chiunque. Due cm di luce a molla aperta sono una buona misura.

I use one to connect my chainsaw lanyard to my belt and another on my chainsaw loop to my belt hook. Not to big not to small, easy to use with gloves. Always carry extras

Having just received these, I can't really speak to the quality, durability or workmanship.Rather, I'm writing about WHY I purchased these. Maybe for some of you that are 'thinking' about replacing some carabiners you already use for hammock suspension.The orig. 'biners' I bought, seperately, for my hammock (on the left in the picture), were the least expensive I could find locally; bigger than I needed but in the price range.The 'biners' that came with my tree straps (on the right) are steel, HEAVE as hell and UNrated. Though I have NO concern they're heavy enough. And that's where I had an issue, they weight a 'ton'. ONE steel 'biner' weights more than FOUR of the 'biners' being reviewed.So, these 'biners' are smaller (inch shorter), weigh considerably less (I'm saving 75% in weight) and are smoother than the steel ones (not by a whole lot, but there are NO square edges at all). Plus, the wire gate is 'heavier' than either of the others (heavier spring).By switching to these I'm cutting the 'biner' weight to a 1/4 of what the steel weighed. IF 4 of these weight less than 1 steel, and I need TWO 'biners', I've gone from what would have weighed as much as EIGHT of these, to only two (1/4 the weight) and getting the same job done.With having Whoopie Slings, I can now 'afford' to have four of these (one on each end of each Whoopie Sling) for LESS the weight of just ONE of the steel 'biners'And given that the steel 'biners' weigh MORE than the tree strap it's meant to 'clip' to...I've essentially cut my tree strap weight in HALF.Doesn't sound like much, but 'an ounce in the morning is a pound at night'. Plus, being orange, easier to find if I drop one, or locate in a bag if it's dark.So, if you're 'thinking' about carabiners for your hammock suspension (again, I can't speak to quality) and desire 'lighter'. These were MY choice. Though time will tell re: durability, quality...I'm HAPPY with my purchase.
