This turned an hour job into a 4 hrs. ordeal. I had to install and remove it 3 times to make it fit. the problem is that it would not extend more than halfway, leaving me a 6-inch gap. the tubes would not side in and out smoothly and would jam halfway. Required repeated forced extensions using a bench vice and lubrication so that it would extend to the proper length. even then, it was difficult and barely managed to force it in place
